BOSTON AND DISTRICT CROPLEYS SUZUKI DIVISION

Wrangle United Reserves 5 Tydd St. Mary 5

A HALF-TIME ear-bashing and some bizarre refereeing was needed to help the Saints turn around 4-0 deficit.

Sloppy defending allowed the hosts storm into their 4-0 half-time lead.

Wrangle played the first 10 minutes of the second half with just eight men.

They had made three substitutions and failed to inform the referee who ordered them to leave the field and wait to be called back.

The Saints took advantage and Ashley Godfrey scored from a one-on-one with the keeper.

With all Wrangle's players back on, Lewis Chapman scored twice - a free-kick which was intended as a cross and a 25-yard strike that looped around the goalkeeper.

After Wrangle scored their fifth, goals from Rob Mikla and Godfrey completed the scoring.
