Rookies Netball team race to league title triumph

A netball team from Wisbech is celebrating after securing the Wisbech Netball League Division One title.

Rookies 3 were crowned champions after winning an impressive 16 games out of their 18, and finished on 102 points for the season – 11 more than second-placed Rookies 2.

Training for the club takes place every Monday from 6.30pm until 8pm at Thomas Clarkson Academy, Wisbech, and costs £3.
