Skaters Roller Hockey Club is looking for new members for 2016.

A Wisbech Roller Hockey club has been reborn after losing almost all its members earlier this year.

Dozens of keen skaters attended Walpole Roller Hockey Club sessions until the summer of this year, when all but six members left.

The remaining members were not discouraged, however, and their love for Roller Hockey saw the creation of a new club – Skaters Roller Hockey Club.

The newly-formed club now boasts over 30 members but is looking for new skaters and donations so that the club can have a successful 2016.

New Skaters has recently raised £100, but is aiming to raise even more through a charity bingo night, taking place this Friday (18) at Sutton Bridge and a 0’s and 5’s stall during Sunday’s skating session.

For more information on the club, please call Gary Evison on 01945 882048.
