Alfie Cooper defied the soggy conditions to seal the Tydd St Giles Golf Club Men’s Autumn Open title last weekend.
Cooper fought off the challenges from 111 other golfers from around the region to be crowned champion on a day where the weather threatened to halt proceedings.
The Tydd club golfer came in with a score of Nett 67 to seal the victory, with fellow clubmate Mark Whittaker coming in second place.
