SNOOKER player Joe Perry has risen to 12th in the world rankings following his semi-final appearance in the World Championships at the Crucible, Sheffield.
The 33-year-old from Chatteris admitted he has suffered with nerves throughout his career but is now learning to cope with the high pressure of major tournaments.
He said: "Some days the nerves work for you, some days they work against you.
"The more you do, the easier it becomes as you get used to the situations and learn how deal with them better.
