THIRTY seven personal bests and a club record were achieved by swimmers from Chatteris Kingfishers when the club started the final rounds of their club championships.
They competed in Ely on Sunday, in100m breaststroke, 200m freestyle and the 100m butterfly.
With Ivo Nooteboom, Rhiannon Stevenson, Hannah O'Hea and Cathy Thomson setting personal bests in all three events in their age groups the competition looks very strong for this years championships.
Steven Maven also put in an impressive performance in the 100m butterfly to claim a new club record.
