SIX Fenland Running Club members ran in the 19th Grunty Fen Half Marathon at Witchford, near Ely, and every single one recorded a personal best performance.
First Fenland Runner home on the windy, fast, flat course was Maire Irlam, who was the 15th female finisher and third in the Vet 40 category, in 1.35.34.
Next was Dave Hood in 1.38.55, followed by Cheryl Chapman (1.53.26), Jane Greenwood (1.55.01), Louise Busby (1.59.15) and Tracy Veenendaal (2.15.47).
