Martyn Bunce has joined Wisbech Town as first team coach.
Bunce was most recently assistant manage at Boston United, where he remains in charge of their title-winning youth side which last season featured Fenmen loanees Liam Adams and Harry Vince.
He also had a spell as the Pilgrims’ interim manager in December last year following Dennis Greene’s resignation.
Wisbech boss Dick Creasey had hinted last week that the club’s latest capture may not be one of a player.
He said: “Bunny is a really good catch for us and I’m looking forward to working with him.
“He has had some excellent ideas which will help the team build on the momentum generated in the second half of last season.”
It’s understood that Bunce’s appointment will free up assistant boss Glen Maddison to have more of a scouting role for the first team.
