No rollover for Smart

WISBECH S Tom Smart will be looking to put a King s Lynn start to the season jinx behind him when the 2008 Stock Car season starts at the Norfolk Arena this Saturday. He will be in a traditional World Championship Qualifying Round for the BriSCA F2 Stock

WISBECH'S Tom Smart will be looking to put a King's Lynn start to the season jinx behind him when the 2008 Stock Car season starts at the Norfolk Arena this Saturday.

He will be in a traditional World Championship Qualifying Round for the BriSCA F2 Stock Cars.

Twice in the last three years Smart, who finished last season in 10th out of more than 600 drivers, has rolled his car at this venue.

Smart will face competition from more than 80 F2 Stock Cars booked to race and drivers travelling from throughout England, Ireland, Scotland and Europe to take part.

Glen Bonney and Anthony Winters, who are both from Wisbech, will also be competing.

The action starts at 6.30pm.
