THE newly-formed High 5s Rookies netball teams competed in their first tournament on Saturday.
The teams were formed from players, aged eight to 11, who have attended coaching courses at Thomas Clarkson Community College, Wisbech, for the last eight weeks.
One of the teams came second in the mini-tournament in Peterborough against teams from a coaching centre in St Neots.
All of the Wisbech players have now signed up to join Rookies Netball Club and will train on Monday nights from 6.30-8pm at Thomas Clarkson Community College.

The club also welcomes players, aged 11 to 16.
