Netball League's hotshots are announced
THE winners of the Wisbech and District Netball Leagues have been announced. Division One was won by Bs with Rookies 1 runners-up. Ladybirds 1 won Division Two, beating runners-up Marshalls 1 by two points. Success in Division Three went to All Stars 3
THE winners of the Wisbech and District Netball Leagues have been announced.
Division One was won by Bs with Rookies 1 runners-up.
Ladybirds 1 won Division Two, beating runners-up Marshalls 1 by two points.
Success in Division Three went to All Stars 3 whilst All Stars 1 gained second place.
Player of the season awards went to Ellen Snowden, of Toffee Apples, in Division One, Jointly Jenny Clark, of Shooting Stars and Mel DeGrut of Foxes 1, for Division Two and Zoe Hill, of Marshalls 2, for Division Three.
Ladybirds 1 beat Rookies C 5-3 after extra time at the end of season tournament.

The league, held at Thomas Clarkson Community College, produces arguably the highest standard of netball in Cambridgeshire, with three of its teams winning the Cambridgeshire County League.
Rookies won the county title in the 2006-2007 season, Bs won it the following year, followed by Bassetts last year.
