Young Nathan Jolly has certainly been bitten by the angling bug after netting a monster common carp.
Nathan, 12, from Cherry Road, Wisbech, netted the prize specimen at Eldernell Lake, Coates, while fishing with his uncle Lee Markham.
Hooking a 5lb fish was only the beginning for Nathan, a student at Queen's School, Wisbech, and using bread as bait, the youngster's next catch proved to be one to remember - a 20lb 2oz common carp.
Nathan's aunt Tina Markham said: "He wasn't sure about fishing before but now he is definitely interested and he wants to take part in a match.
"It was great for Lee to take him to the lake and it turned out to be a trip he will never for get.
