Wisbech racing sensation Randal Lynn has capped a memorable season by clinching perhaps his most impressive title to date.
The local talent raced to success in the Superstox National Championship at the Foxhall Stadium in Ipswich, adding a second title of the season following his victory at the East Anglian Spedeworth Championship in April.
Randal saw off the challenge of 30 other racers to finish three cars clear in top spot after a gruelling 25 laps, and celebrated by filling the arena with smoke through a hoard of doughnuts.
During the race, Randal tactically barged his opposition before storming clear and finishing ahead of rivals Nick Roots and Ben Marjoram, who finished in second and third respectively.
A Spedeworth spokesman said: “All our congratulations go out to Randal for his achievement. It is turning out to be a brilliant season for him so far.”
Randal is also on the look-out for sponsorship opportunities. For more information, call 07487 825847.
