The Wisbech Town FA Cup exhibition has been launched to raise funds towards the publication of a book written by the club’s historian.
Wisbech Town Football Club historian Gordon Smith, Fenny the club mascot and David Hodgson, Mayor of Wisbech opened the exhibition which will be open from 1pm to 4pm every day at Octavia Hill’s Birthplace House, 7 South Brink until December 3.
Proceeds from the exhibition will go towards the pre-Christmas publication of the book ‘Wisbech Football Volume 2 1929-1970.’
Wisbech Town FC President John Petch said: “We are delighted once again to extend our involvement with with Octavia Hill’s Birthplace House and the local community.”
