LOUISE HAZEL has been selected to represent Great Britain and Northern Ireland team at next month's World Championships, in Berlin.
The 23-year-old March-based athlete was picked alongside Jessica Ennis to compete in the heptathlon and will be part of a 60-strong squad.
Hazel, the British No. 2, has been in top form.
At a competition in Birmingham earlier this month, she threw a javelin 42m in rain and equalled a personal best of 1m71ins in the high jump.
She will go to a 10-day training camp in Portugal, starting on August 5.
The heptathlon will take place on day one and day two of the World Championships, on August 15-16.
