THE Hares are involved in a double-header against Hadleigh, including a crucial Ridgeons League Cup quarter-final match.

They travel to the Suffolk club for a Ridgeons First Division match on Saturday and then welcome them to the GER Ground for Tuesday's cup clash, which March chairman Phil White describes as the biggest match of the season so far.

To bring in the crowds Mr White is allowing all under-16s into the ground free of charge.

He said: "I really want the people of March to see and recognise what we are achieving at the club.

"We have a great chance of winning some silverware and I'm really proud of my manager Brett Whaley and his assistant Jamie Western and all of the players for getting this far - I couldn't have better people to work with and the board is 110 per cent behind what they are doing."

He added: "We have such a young squad and nearly all of these lads are from the March area. Our captain Luke Pepper is just 24 years old and we only have one player in the squad, James McCallum, over the age of 25.

"The team will keep getting better and in three or four years these players will be at their peak so we should have one hell of a team.

"I set Brett a target of a top 10 finish and a good cup run this year and he looks to be on course to doing that. Next season I hope for us to be in the top six and then we can start looking at promotion to the Premier Division. These are really exciting times for March Town United Football Club."

A bus will be leaving the GER Ground for Saturday's league match at noon.

The club are also looking for a sponsor for Tuesday's cup match.
