March AC members took on the Mammonth Marathon and Half Marathon along the coast of Norfolk.

The longer race starts in Sea Palling and finishes in Sheringham, with David Burgess coming home in two hours 52 minutes for third in his category.

Emma Tuck was second female in 3:17.27, while long distance specialist Alan Brown finished in 4:14.06.

Dawn Veal ran the 13.1-mile race and finished in 2:08.56.

Ryan Jarvis continued his pursuit of 52 marathons in a year at the Saturn Running Spring Marathon (4:57) and Suffolk Running Centre Marathon, where he finished in just under four hours to make it 25 so far.

Andrew Jakeman was second overall at the Ely Duathlon, where participants ran 5k, cycled 25k and ran another 5k. He was fastest in the first run and finished in 1:17.01.

Geraldine Larham clocked 1:37.48 at the Chester Half Marathon, which served as the England Masters Championships, while Karen Dando ran the Dereham 10-mile race in a personal best 1:25.30, some 12 and a half minutes quicker than 2019.

*Three Counties Running Club's Richard Stapleton clocked 1:49.21 at the popular, fast and scenic Milton Keynes Half Marathon.

And clubmate Jacqueline McGonigle recorded a nine-minute personal best of 2:26.07 at the seventh Strabane Lifford half Marathon.

Others took part in a unique local 5k race called 'Beat the Tractor' at Manea in aid of Headway, a charity that raises money for the Brain Injury Association.

Jonathan Quail was first member home in 11th place in 22.10, with Sarah-Jane Macdonald (24th, 24.43), Victoria May (41st, 27.53), Laura Vincent (66th, 31.55), Ewa Szczygielska (79th, 33.12) and son Daniel (32.47) also taking part.
