LEVERINGTON under-8s football team are enjoying a fantastic season in the Fenland Youth District League.
And local businessman Les Walker, from Priden Engineering, is making sure they look as good as they play, having provided the team with kit and waterproof training tops.
Manager Wayne Garner said: "We're having a great season. We're winning as many games as we're losing, and four of the lads are training at the Cambridge School of Excellence.
"But it's not all about winning and the lads always play with a smile on their faces, which is the main thing.
"We're really grateful for Mr Walker's support. This is the second year running that he has sponsored the team.
