LEVERINGTON are deep in relegation trouble after losing by a single wicket at Bircham in the West Norfolk Division One.
Damien Allen was in fine form for the visitors, scoring 46 runs before conceding just 16 runs from 12 overs and taking a wicket.
But Andy Reid (13) was the only other Leverington batsman to reach double figures and they were all out for 111.
Bircham found it no easier to bat with Ian Cooper (5-33) and Orlando Prestidge (3-37) keeping the pressure on.
In the end Bircham needed 14 runs to win with Leverington only needing to pick up one wicket, but the home side's last pair saw them home.
