A SCOTT CUBBERLEY penalty, three minutes into stoppage time, gave Wisbech a dramatic and crucial victory.
The result moves the Fenmen seven points clear of Norwich United, who occupy the final relegation spot.
Cubberely missed a good chance early on and Billy Smith's pace was a constant worry for the hosts.
Darren Jimson fired Wisbech into the lead in the 53rd minute when he beat the off-side trap and coolly slotted home.
Norwich equalised in the 80th minute Shaun Bammant connected with a cross to leave Wisbech keeper Alex Street no chance.
Midfielder Stuart King had been superb for Wisbech throughout the game, and he won the decisive penalty when he was clipped during a burst into the box and Cubberley made no mistake from the spot.
