Jimmy White, who entered the tournament through a wild card, lost his first round match 6-2 to Mark King on Sunday.
Two second round matches have been played with Mark Selby beating Ding Junhui 6-1 and Peter Ebdon coming from behind to overcome Marco Fu 6-2.
