MARCH heptathlete Louise Hazel is competing in the hurdles and long jump at this weekend's Aviva European trials and UK Indoor Championships, in Sheffield.
She was in superb form at Midland Indoor Championships in Birmingham last weekend, recording a third place finish to Britain's top heptathlete Kelly Sotherton in the 60m sprint.
Hazel recorded 7.68secs in Sunday's final.
Hazel, who hopes to compete in the 2012 Olympics, was dogged with injuries last season but appears to have been rejuvenated by former rival Julie Holman, who she has recently been appointed as her coach.
Hazel, 23, will be competing in a Grand Prix in Birmingham on February 21, an event which will be given television coverage.
