WISBECH enjoyed a largely triumphant weekend, with resounding victories for both first teams and a thrilling win in the HA Trophy.

Norwich Dragons 2 Wisbech Ladies 6
Table-toppers Wisbech continued their sparkling run of form with a comfortable win over Norwich Dragons. Goals from Claire Apted (2), Joey Gomm (2), Jane Peggs and Jodie Peggs helped them secure an emphatic victory.

Wisbech 5 Ramgarhia 2
Wisbech smashed five goals to end Ramgarhia’s 100 per cent record. Tom Jupp (2), Brad Apted (2) and David Wood were the goalscorers in a stunning team performance.
HA Trophy - Second Round
Broxbourne 4 Wisbech 5
Wisbech battled back from going behind after just 20 seconds to win a thrilling game. Brad Apted capped off a fine weekend with two more goals, with Karle Belding, Joe Melton and Gary Freear also finding the net.

St Neots 0 Wisbech Town III 0
Wisbech came away from a tough match against St Neots with a hard earned point after a stern defensive display. Shaun Claxton, Paul Jackson, Simon Freear and man of the match Sam Portham had good games.

Wisbech IV 1 Spalding II 4
A Howard Atkins strike was the only thing to cheer about for Wisbech, who were dominated by an unbeaten Spalding side.
