TONY BROWN MEMORIAL CUP
Chatteris Town 0 March Town United 3
THREE first-half goals helped the Hares cruise to victory in their last warm up game before the start of their Ridgeons First Division campaign.
March fielded mainly reserve and fringe players with Lee White, Ashley Brand and Luke Walker the only first team regulars in the starting 11 and it was these three players who scored the goals against a Chatteris side who will be playing in the Kershaw Senior Division B this season.
White made a late run into the six-yard box to open the scoring after 15 minutes.
Brand scored a tap-in five minutes later and then delivered a superb cross to allow Walker to score with a thumping header just before the interval.
