WISBECH Mixed Martial Arts club members took part in a well-attended presentation evening which consisted of a grappling competition and other awards for various achievements.

There were three categories including juniors, senior middleweights and senior heavyweights.

The winner of the juniors was Joe Pugh whilst second place went to Billy ford.

In the middleweight seniors category Luke Coker came out on top while Karl Durringham took second place.

The highly competitive senior category was won by Lee Walters and second place going to Marcin Trenka.

Other trophy winners were Jimmy Pugh for most improved, Kyle Reed for his dedication to training and a special award went to his brother Jordon Reed.

Mixed martial arts is a mixture of boxing, kick boxing, Brazilian Ju jitsu and submission wrestling.

Sessions are held at the Hudson Sports Centre on Mondays and Thursdays between 8-9.30pm and new members of all levels are welcome.
