NINE-YEAR-OLD Amelia Newby has added yet another gold medal to her growing collection.
The youngster from West Walton, who recently qualified for the Horse of The Year Show (HOYS), triumphed at the Royal International Horse Show in Hickstead.
She rode her pony Ardenhall Miss Moidoire to the title after seeing off opposition from more than 25 UK-based competitors.
Newby said: “I was a little bit nervous as the International Arena is huge but I knew my pony would look after me.”
The successful duo still hope to feature at the HOYS event where Newby will be riding her other pony, Whitsand Warrior, during the Birmingham showpiece.
