WISBECH Rugby Club hosted a massive junior rugby tournament on Sunday.
Teams from across the eastern counties competed in under-13s and under-14s sections but the home club was not represented.
Cambridge won in both age groups.
Volunteers from Wisbech Rugby Club helped to organise the event.
Wisbech head coach Steve Drawbridge said: "I estimate there were more than 900 people there and it is a massive credit to everyone at the club for putting on such a big event for the town."
On the same day Wisbech under-8s A and B teams were in action.
Wisbech A travelled to Ely to take part in the Cambridgeshire Cup and made it through to the semi finals, winning all their group matches on the way before losing 8-5 to Saffron Walden.
Wisbech B travelled to King's Lynn and played matches against Diss and West Norfolk.
They lost 7-5 and 2-1 to Diss A and 11-7 and 6-3 to Norfolk A.
