A RECORD 340 teams entered the annual Wisbech St Mary Football Tournament.
About 2,550 players competed over two days.
Teams ranged from boys' under-7s to under-16s and girls' under-11s to ladies.
The tournament was held at Hudson Playing Field on Saturday and Sunday and is recognised as one of the largest five and six-a-side grassroots' tournament in the country.
Planning started nearly six months ago and entries came in from Cambridgeshire Norfolk, Suffolk, Lincolnshire and Northamptonshire.
Results: under-8s: Hampton Reds 1 Wisbech St Mary 0; under-9s: Hungate Rovers 3 Nene Valley 1; under-10s: Ramsey Colts 3 St Edmunds Pride 1; under-11s: Ramsey Colts 1 Chatteris 0; under-12s: Histon FC 2 Leverington B 1; under-13s: WSM Purple 1 WSM Yellow 0; under-14s: Boston FDC 4 Hampton FC A 0; under-15s: Grantham Gingerbreads 2 Netherton 2 (Grantham Gingerbreads won 8-7 on penalties); under-16s: Powerleague Colts 2 Greetham 0; girls' under-11s: Deeping Diamonds 1 Peterborough Diamonds 1 (Deeping Diamonds won 6-5 on penalties); girls' under-13s Waveney A 2 Discovery Whites 0; girls' under-15s: Peterborough Azures 1 North Lynn 0; ladies': Peterborough 1 Clenchwarton 0.
Due to FA rules the organisers are unable to report the results for the under-7s.
