SOME of Fenland's finest pool stars were rewarded when the Cherry Automatics March and District Pool League held their awards evening for the 2008/2009 season.
The league wish to thank the Station Hotel, Q Club, GER, Legion, Cricket Club, Three Horseshoes, USC, Three Tuns and Five All's, Benwick who all donated raffle prizes, everyone who helped on the night, everyone that attended and the Cricket Club for hosting the singles and presentation night.
The raffle raised more than �55 for future events.
Award winners were as follows: Division 1:Winners Q Club; runners up Braza A; Captain's Cup winner Tony Nosworthy (Cricket Club); Captain's Cup runner up Lee Hazeltine (GER A).
Division 2: Winners USC Services; runners up Legion B; Captain's Cup winners Mark Pickering (Red Lion), Stuart German (Legion B), Mark Stephens (Three Horseshoes); Captain's cup runner up Brian Crofts (GER B).
Doubles winners Andy Hammond & Darren McCarthy; Doubles runners up - Kevin Towell & Brian Crofts; Team Knock-out winners Q Club; Team Knock-out runners up Three Horseshoes.
