JACK ARCHER CUP, FIRST LEG

Wisbech II 34 March 10

AFTER a couple of excellent performances without a win, Wisbech seconds recorded a comprehensive derby win against a March side containing only 13 players.

Tries from Jack Malkin, Raimus, Matt Mitchell and Sam Anderson put Wisbech in control before March responded with a Colin Buck drop-goal to make it 20-3.

Further tries from Anderson and Marcus Ringwood both of which were converted by Anderson made it 34-3.

March skipper Ben Saxby made a superb 45-yard run to score March's only try and Buck converted.

The second leg will be played in March in the new year.
