LAST year’s runners-up Wroxham provide the opposition for the Fenmen in the next round of the FA Vase.

Wisbech travel to Trafford Park on Saturday November 13 just two weeks after the sides are due to meet in the Ridgeons Premier League.

Andy Furnell’s second-half penalty secured a point for the Fenmen in August’s 1-1 draw at the Tom Wood’s Beer Fenland Stadium.

Wisbech progressed to the second round after comfortably beating Cogenhoe United 5-1 at home on Saturday. Andy Furnell, Tommy Treacher, Luke Kennedy and a brace from Matt Lunn eased the Fenmen into the hat for today’s draw.

The Yachtsmen needed extra-time to beat Woodbridge Town 5-2 in the Ridgeons League Cup First Round on Saturday. They were thrashed 6-1 by Whitley Bay in last year’s final at Wembley.
