WISBECH Town returned to winning ways with a hard-fought 2-0 victory at already-relegated Debenham LC.

Ash Stevens gave the Fenmen the lead after he slotted home following a goalmouth scramble before Darren Jimson wrapped up his team’s win in injury time against the league’s bottom side.

Ollie Gale also made his full debut for the fifth-placed Fenmen after shining for the club’s reserve side this campaign.

Steve Appleby’s top-six chasing troops return to action at Brantham Athletic on Tuesday night.
