Wisbech Town’s incredible 14 game winning streak is over.

The Fenmen lost 2-1 at Peterborough Northern Star in the United Counties League last night.

The hosts took the lead, before Tommy Treacher levelled. But Northern Star struck again to end Wisbech’s best run since 1948.

They will look to bounce back in their top of the table clash at leaders AFC Rushden & Diamonds on Saturday.
