NEW-BOY Danny Jazeph made an instant impact, scoring in the opening minutes of Wisbech's last pre-season friendly after signing from Spalding.

The pacey 18-year-old attacker latched on to an under-hit back-pass to fire the Fenmen into an early lead.

It was 1-1 after five minutes when a Deeping attacker took advantage of a miss-hit clearance and the visitors went 2-1 up 10 minutes later when Wisbech failed to deal with a cross.

Lee Day equalised with a header from a corner in the 20th minute.

Striker Nick Impey turned a defender to put the hosts 3-2 up on the half-hour mark.

A visiting striker outpaced the Wisbech defence to score a second-half equaliser.
