GUYHIRN Football Club were granted their wish to be relegated to Division Two of the Croma Sport Peterborough and District League at an extraordinary general meeting on Monday.

The club lost several players in the summer and were concerned that their young side would not be up to first division football.

Member clubs voted in favour of them dropping down a league and agreed to Werrington Town replacing them in Division One.
