JUNIOR football stars were rewarded when the Fenland and District Youth Soccer League awards ceremony was held at Wisbech Town's Fenland Park.

Various league winners were presented with trophies and an end of season tournament was held from Thursday to Sunday, with teams winning medals in different age groups.

March won the under-7s final, Chatteris Orange won the under-9s final and Wisbech St Mary Purples won the under-10s final.

League finishing places were as follows: Under-8s Division One winners: March Soccer School, runners-up: Holbeach United; Under-8s Division Two winners: Wisbech St Mary Yellows, runners-up: Leverington Sports; Under-9s Division One winners: Whittlesey Wasps, runners-up: Wisbech St Marys Yellows; Under-9s Division Two winners: Holbeach United, runners-up: Hungate Green; Under-10s: winners: Wisbech St Marys Purples, runners-up: Holbeach United; Under-11s winners Leverington Sports Whites, runners-up: Leverington Sports Whites; Under-13s winners: Guyhirn, runners-up: Parson Drove; Under-11s Girls Division One: winners: Deeping Diamonds, runners-up: Whittlesey Juniors; Under-11s Girls Division Two: winners: Chatteris, runners-up: Wittering Harriers; Under-13s Girls Division One: winners: Wisbech St Mary Purples, runners-up: Dersingham White; Under-13s Girls Division Two: winners: Leverington Sports; runners-up: Reffley; Under-15s Girls Division One: winners: Stamford, runners-up: Docking; Under-15 Girls Division Two: winners: Wisbech St Mary Purples, runners-up: Wisbech Town Acorns; under-17s Girls: winners: Clenchwarton, runners-up: Netherton United; Ladies League: winners: Yaxley, runners-up Holbeach.
