WISBECH Town’s fixture pile-up looks set to continue after today’s clash at Norwich United was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

The Fenmen have now had nine games postponed this campaign and will be forced to play countless midweek matches between now and the end of the season. All potential Saturday slots for catch-up fixtures have already been taken.

Wisbech are set to be back in action on Tuesday night against Histon Reserves. The clash at the Tom Wood’s Beer Fenland Stadium will kick-off at 7.45pm.

The reserves home tie with Sawston United has also fallen foul of the weather as torrential rain fell across large parts of East Anglia last night.
