FIVE runners from Fenland Running Club were among more than 12,000 runners at the Dublin Marathon.
A new club ladies' record was set by Maire Irlam in her first marathon, finishing the course in three hours, 35 minutes.
Jane Holmes, running her third marathon, set a new personal best by more than one hour with a time of four hours, three minutes, and Simon Wright set a new personal best with a time of three hours, 38 minutes.
Keith White brought Fenland Runners home in three hours 26 minutes to continue his strong form and, having run more than 100 marathons, Kevin Day came home in three hours 35 minutes.
• Fenland Runners meet at Wisbech Rugby Club on Tuesday and Thursdays at 6.30pm. All abilities are welcome.
