Six teams of three competed for the trophy throughout the day and last year's winners Pete Haddon, John Holmes and Andy McEwan had to be content with the runners-up spot this year.

The winners were Barbara Joyce, Gill Rawling and Ray Blackmore, pictured.

The competition was organised by John Fox, treasurer and green keeper, and trophies were presented by chairman Paul Bennett.
