Fenland karting star, 12, rubs shoulders with stars again at Autosport Awards in London

KARTING sensation George Russell spent another weekend rubbing shoulders with the biggest stars in motorsport as he attended the 2010 Autosport Awards in London.

Steve Ryder hosted the evening where Russell, 12, was awarded his trophy for winning the Formula Kart Stars Mini Max British Championship in front of a host of racing icons at the Grosvenor Hotel in Park Lane.

Formula 1 world champion Sebastian Vettel, Jenson Button, David Coulthard, Eddie Jordan and Sir Stirling Moss were just some of the high-profile figures among the star-studded audience.

The Wisbech Grammar School pupil headed off to Italy after the event where he has been undertaking some testing ahead of next season.
