A NEW Fenland-based under-15 football team has been formed to play high level opponents including Luton Town, Peterborough United, Cambridge United and Histon.
The team is called Cambridgeshire Elite Soccer School and coaching will be provided by an ex-Premiership Youth Academy coach.
Trials will be held every Monday from January 4 and it is hoped that home matches will be played at March Town United's GER Ground.
The team will play midweek fixtures.
Other age group teams and a ladies' side are being considered for the future.
Darren Jackson, from Cambridgeshire Elite Soccer School, said: "We know that players who make it in football are those whose attitude is geared towards the goal of becoming a professional footballer.
