THE seniors at Tydd St Giles Golf Club held their annual Ryder Cup-style competition last week.
It was played over three days with members split into teams representing England and The Rest of the World.
Seniors' captain Brian Shales said: "This is one of the most popular events within a busy seniors' calendar. It is competitive and played in great spirit."
England regained the trophy, winning 27-19, the greatest margin ever achieved since the competition was first played in 2000.
The Rest of the World team had won the competition for the previous three years.
