YOUNGSTERS got a chance to taste England’s possible World Cup success at the end of a three-day coaching session.
The event, held at Leverington, attracted up to 40 youngsters from local schools but wiht some even coming from Peterborough.
Coach Mark Norris (pictured centre) described the event as a “great success” and is confident of many more such events during the summer holidays.
“All children and coaches wore England shirts for the day,” he said. “We had a DJ playing music too with England related songs. On our last day we also had a mini world cup with England winning both the older section and the younger section with Spain and Brazil coming runners up.”
The event concluded with a rousing cheer toasting England’s success in South Africa.
