FIVE second-half goals saw Ely take a comfortable victory.
Ely started well, with some good passing play, which Wisbech were unable to break down.
Gilly Dunn made some well-timed tackles throughout and out-marked her player for most of the game.
Ely scored their first goal from some well-worked play, and at this time Wisbech were very unlucky to be more behind, with some good defending for Ali Mason, Liz Manning and player of the match Jade Sykes.
Wisbech pulled one back with some good play from the midfield and forwards which gave Georgie Dunn the change to slot it passed the keeper.
Ely managed to score one more to make it 2-1 before the break.
Ely came out hard in the second half and left Wisbech standing from their breaks and managed to score five more goals, and could have had a few more.
The Ely keeper was lucky to stay on the pitch when she took out Shelley Jones. Wisbech were awarded a penalty flick, and Mason slotted home.
Wisbech II are away to Huntingdon I in the Cambs Cup and the match starts at 3.30pm.
