Ella Beckett hit an archery bullseye after she broke the county record at the Cambridgeshire County Championships.

Ella, alongside a team of archers from Wisbech, competed in two competitions on Sunday February 14 – the County Championships and the Jolly Archers 22nd Indoor Tournament in St Ives.

Ella won first place in the under 18s Barebow Division, making her the under 18 champion for Barebow. Her score of 358 points smashed the county record, and the young archer also bagged a bronze medal in the under 18 team event, where she teamed up with Felicity Sheard.

Felicity then went on to finish second in the under 18 Barebow Division, and Cameron Lewis finished as runner-up in the under 18 Compound Division.

Sanket Goni also came first in the under 18 Compound Division, making him under 18 champion.
