THE Fenmen face two six-pointers at home in the next four days, starting with a match against a revitalised and free-spending Norwich United tomorrow.

Wisbech then host local rivals King's Lynn Reserves on Tuesday night.

Norwich were deep in relegation trouble before Christmas.

But Paul Chick has recently returned for his third spell has the Norwich manager and the club has won three of their last five games and they recorded an impressive 1-1 draw at high-flying Leiston on Saturday.

Norwich are one place and three points above Wisbech, at fourth from bottom, but the Fenmen have a game in hand.

Wisbech skipper Paul Cousins, who is suspended for the Norwich game, said: "Paul Chick has done well with Norwich in the past and he appears to be doing a good job again.

"They have come into some money and are splashing the cash and have made several new signings recently so I don't think they'll stay near the bottom for long.

"But it's still a game we can win and we need to go into it with a positive attitude."

Wisbech midfielder James McManus also misses tomorrow's match through suspension.

The bad weather has meant that Wisbech have been unable to play since their 5-3 defeat at Felixstowe and Walton on January 31.

Cousins said: "We've had some good training sessions. We had a really tough work-out on Tuesday night and everyone is fresh and raring to go."

King's Lynn Reserves are five points ahead of Wisbech in 15th and have already beaten Wisbech 4-0 in the league this season.

Cousins said: "Lynn had about eight first teamers in for that game but their first team have a match on Tuesday night.

"With home advantage we've got a really good chance of beating them this time.

"We're going into both games looking for victories and, hopefully, we will have moved well up the table by the end of Tuesday night.
