WISBECH'S first Saturday side went back to the top of the Tucker League after stunning bowling performances from Ben Allsop (5-8) and James Williams (4-35) helped them to en emphatic 10-wicket thrashing of Godmanchester seconds.

Godmanchester could muster just 43 all out.

Gary Freear (24 not out) and Damien Coad (19 not out) ensured Wisbech reached their target in 9.5 overs.

The visitors notched 185-8 and Paul Strickle (2-12) finished on the best Wisbech bowling figures.

Opener Tom Coates was the top Wisbech scorer in a reply of 146 all out with 31.

Leverington Cricket Club are back in relegation trouble after a poor batting performance against Swanton Morley in the West Norfolk Division One.

Both teams were much changed from the previous week where Leverington had won.

Leverington lost the toss on a wet wicket and were soon in trouble with three quick wickets going.

Damien Allen (12 ) debut-making Rob Lynn (38) were the only Leverington players to get into double figures putting on 40 for the fourth wicket as they were bowled out for 80.

Swanton Morley had the best of the batting conditions and easily knocked off the runs with Allen picking up the only wicket.
