FENLAND Running Club won the ladies' section of the Nene Valley 10 Mile race on Sunday.
Overnight rain created some muddy stretches on the two-lap course at Bretton but this clearly did not hamper the Fenland ladies who continued their fine form.
Rebecca Cousins came home in a ladies' club record 1.06.20, followed by Nicole Coughlin in 1.11.13 and Trudy Sayell in 1.15.37 (PB).
There were also PBs from other Fenland runners with Andre Pittock, 1.08.10; Pasquale Ruggerio, 1.15.00 and Dave Harris, 1.30.14.
Coach Robin Parker broke the hour in 59.46 and Clive Harrod and Keith White finishing in 1.11.12 and 1.12.11 respectively.
