WISBECH Rugby Club's players are fired up for their biggest match of the season tomorrow ... and are hoping a large crowd can help them secure a place in the last 16 of the EDF Junior Vase.

They will be entertaining Crawley in the sixth round of the competition.

It will be the Sussex League Division One side's first trip to Wisbech's Harecroft Road.

Wisbech coach Richard Horne has a near full-strength squad to choose from.

Ben Wicks is the only Wisbech player expected to miss the match.

The talented No.8 is recovering from a head injury he suffered in a match against Holt before Christmas.

Crawley lost their fifth-round match 22-13, but qualified after their opponents Alton, from Hampshire, were found to have played an ineligible player.

Both teams play in leagues which are adjudged to be of the same standard.

Crawley are mid-table in the Sussex League Division One, having won four and lost four of their eight league games.

Wisbech have won 10 and lost two of their 12 league fixtures and are second in the Eastern Counties Division One.

Wisbech last reached the sixth round of the EDF Energy Vase two seasons ago, and will be hoping home advantage will help them go one better tomorrow.

The match kicks-off at 2pm.
