Wisbech 2nd XV 5

Deeping 2nd XV 10

WISBECH second string performed extremely well against a more experienced side.

Having supplied several players to the first team, Wisbech adapted quickly and put good moves together from the start.

Sam Anderson was in fine form at fly-half and Man of the Match Ben Chapman played out of position at No 8 and went on to command the lineout.

Debut-making Simon Frampton scored Wisbech's only try in the first half.

Deeping responded with unconverted tries either side of half-time.

Other notable performances were turned in by the Ringwood brothers, and James Mitcham had a solid game in the second row.

All of the Wisbech players can be satisfied with their performance and can look forward to an away trip to Crusaders in the Norfolk Merit League tomorrow.
